If you have a customer in Oklahoma and you are in New York City, we can help you make money if you don’t want to oversee a whole service channel network.  Some dealers even have rules that you are not allowed to sell out of state.  If it is a $8000 copier, we normally make about $1000 on the hardware for a deal like that, so we will pay you $600 if the lead closes – (we sell the copier to the user, just as an FYI).  Why let other dealerships make money when you can make money on the deal yourself.  If we get to the point where we pay over $5,000 in commissions, we will work out an arrangement for you to make sure you get some of the monthly residual too.  (Why not do this for everyone?  We don’t want to have to calculate out $6 commission checks for someone who helped get 1 deal 2.5 years ago.)  The concept is to help those happy with their current situation make a few extra bucks for themselves or their dealership on deals they’d normally pass up.
